Rotary District 6970

Rotary District 6970 is Florida's Crown District where Rotary has served for more than 100 years. Rotary Districts help clubs connect with each other, provide resources, train club leaders, qualify for Rotary grants, and conduct Rotary Youth Leadership Awards events and Youth Exchanges. Established in 1915, Rotary District 6970 supports and serves the clubs and communities of Northeast Florida.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards: District 6970

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts where students develop their skills as leaders while having fun and making connections. In District 6970, participating Rotary clubs award RYLA scholarships to students whom they choose to attend an all-expense-paid, four-day residential leadership retreat in a northeast Florida college or university setting.

Rotary Youth Exchange: Florida

Rotary Youth Exchange builds peace one young person at a time. Students learn a new language, discover another culture, and truly become global citizens. Exchanges for students ages 15-19 are sponsored by Rotary clubs in more than 100 countries. The Youth Exchange programs in Florida are growing through the efforts of the multi-district organization, Rotary Youth Exchange Florida, Inc.
