Rotary Club of Palatka Sunrise

Annual Scholarships

The scholarship program began in Rotary Year 2000-2001. Since then, our club has awarded more than $100,000 to local students in a wide variety of educational programs. In 2019, $10,000 in college scholarships were awarded by Palatka Sunrise to students.

The Rotary Club of Palatka Sunrise awards traditional and non-traditional scholarships. Traditional scholarships are presented to students moving directly from high school to college. These scholarships are usually used for books and tuition. Non-traditional scholarships are usually awarded to students who have been out of high school for a period of time. These scholarships can be used for books and tuition or for the purchase of specialized tools, uniforms, child care expenses, or other expenses that may arise.

To apply for a scholarship, please download, complete, and submit the Scholarship Application Package to the Scholarship Review Committee by the designated deadline in the Application Instruction Sheet.
